COOLTREAT 102

COOLTREAT 102 is a liquid corrosion and scale inhibitor formulated with a synergistic blend of sodium nitrite, sodium

borate polymers, sodium hydroxide, and specific organic inhibitors, ideal for closed and chilled water systems.

It effectively protects both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including copper and aluminum. This product prevents scale

deposition, is suitable for mixed metal systems, features simple control tests, and allows for direct dosing from the drum

with minimal handling.

COOLTREAT 102 is normally dosed to maintain the level of treatment in the system above a minimum value specified by

BCI sales Engineer to suit the operating and make-up water conditions. For chlorides less than 50 mg/l, the dosage is

1,250 mg/l as sodium nitrite.

COOLTREAT 102 should, ideally, be injected by means of a dosage pot or a dosing pump.
