CHEMTREAT 271

CHEMTREAT 271 is a silicone-based antifoam solution designed to prevent foam formation in cooling water systems and

wastewater plants. It is safe for use in food processing industries requiring food-grade antifoam, offering efficient foam

prevention, low toxicity, and ease of application as a liquid product.

CHEMTREAT 271 is normally maintained at a concentration between 10 ppm and 100 ppm in the recirculating water.

BCI sales Engineer will recommend the concentration necessary for the particular operating conditions.

CHEMTREAT 271 may be diluted with water if desired and applied by means of a pump. More usually, it is applied

intermittently and may be added to the cooling pond or process without dilution.
